Job Opportunity With Equal Exchange

Molly Zeff, who works in the Community Sales Program (formerly Interfaith Program) at Equal Exchange, is building a network of part-time paid activists who live across the southeastern United States.  Group members will support one another as they work in their own geographic areas to reach out to people of faith and local schools by:
  • engaging in education about Fair Trade
  • managing exhibitors' tables at events on behalf of Equal Exchange
  • reaching out to faith-based bloggers and local press about Equal Exchange's programs for congregations and schools.
These activists will be working 10-20 hours/month and will receive $11/hour.  Most of the time all travel for this work will be local, within 1-2 hours of their homes or less.  We will be trained together as a group (with all travel expenses covered) at a 2-day workshop in late October in Asheville, NC.  If you're interested, you can email Molly Zeff at mzeff@equalexchange.coop or call her at 774-776-7335.  We have a great group so far and look forward to hiring more talented folks!
