Update on Crop Hunger Walk
Congratulations GCPC community! Thanks to your support we raised $575 to help stop hunger. Due to the weather, the Crop Walk was cancelled last week and rescheduled for Sunday, October 11th at 2pm. Unfortunately,
our church calendar was full that weekend, but we are grateful to
everyone who planned to participate. See you next year!

Crop Walk Coordinators Needed!
The
Asheville Buncombe County Crop Walk is coming up on October 14th, 2012.
Crop Walk is wonderful program aimed at raising money and awareness to
fight hunger throughout the world. To make Crop Walk happen at GCPC
this year, we need at least two people to step forward and lead the
event. The leaders would need to work on publicity, sign ups, and
paperwork as well as communicate with the local Crop Organizers. They
would also be in charge of getting people where they need to be on the
day of the event. Kristy Farber will be happy to assist the leaders in
whatever way they need. Please contact Kristy if you are interested.
