Report From the Timothy Project/Scholarship Program in Guatemala

The Jerusalem Church has sent a report on the Timothy
Project/Scholarship Program for 2012.  Of the 45 students receiving aid, 27 are from the church and 18 from the community.  Grace Covenant members contributed $6000 ($133 per child) to the 2012 program.  The money is used to help pay for registration, school supplies, uniforms, and vitamins.  In order to receive a scholarship, children and their
families covenant to work hard, get good grades, attend church
activities, and participate in quarterly meetings with the scholarship committee.  Thanks to all who contribute to the Timothy Project/Scholarship Program.  The need for education is great in Guatemala. Praise God for our partners at Jerusalem Church who administer this program so successfully and allow us to participate in the building of the Kingdom of God!  And let's look forward to helping out in the coming school year, too.
