The Latest from the Community Garden

Kennebec Potatoes at Jasperwood Farm
On Friday we held the last of our Potato Digs at Anthony's Farm. The team gathered more than 500 pounds of potatoes that Anthony moved with his tractor and plow. The potatoes will cure for a week or so. Then a small crew will wash and bag them. Stay tuned.

Cabbages at Jasperwood Farm
The crew weeded of the adjacent cabbage patch. If memory serves me correctly we have about 750 cabbages in this section at Anthony's Farm. It will be mid to late November when the cabbage mature.

Winter Squash
Last of the winter squash is still available in the garden shed.

Eggplant & Peppers
The eggplant and pepper plants were tilled under.  Clover was sown.

Recent Donations of Vegetables & Herbs
A truck full of butternut squash, a box of cabbages, a box of chard, and a box of peppers were donated yesterday.
