Immediate Needs in the Erwin School District

In taking a closer look at rural poverty in Buncombe County, we have been shocked at some of the severe needs right in our backyard.  During the month of January, Grace Covenant will be collecting socks of all sizes for the students in this district (bins located in the information station) as well as gas cards and bus passes for the parents in this area. (These can be put in the offering plate or handed directly to Kristy or Heather.)  We are looking at more comprehensive ways to assist with these deficits and more information will be coming at the annual meeting and in the next few months.
