This job is perfect
for two friends who want to share the workload and inspire each other. There
will be plenty of guidance from GCPC people and the Presbytery’s Guatemala
Partnership Education Committee.

Enthusiasm and a desire to make a huge difference in the lives of
children in Guatemala are the main requirements!

WANTED: VIRTUAL VISITS COORDINATOR(S)
The “Virtual Visits”
idea was suggested by a busy parent of small children: matching GCPC and Jerusalem Church families
or individuals for relationship building using modern electronic media. Think “pen pals” in the 21st
century using Skype, video, Facebook, etc.
Not everyone is ready or able to travel and meet in person, but with
modern technology, we can get to know our Guatemalan brothers and sisters.
Knowledge of Spanish
is helpful but not essential.
Translation and interpretation help are available at GCPC. More important is knowledge of electronic
media and its potential for community-building.
The job could be shared by two persons.
Duties:
--develop communication guidelines
--recruit
participants
--monitor and troubleshoot as needed
--evaluate the program.
