Meet Barbara Nagy, Our Malawi Mission Partner!

Who is Barbara Nagy?

 

--Physician trained in internal medicine and pediatrics

--PCUSA mission coworker for 14 years, the past ten at Nkhoma, Malawi, Nkhoma Hospital. --Medical school at Emory in Atlanta, and just recently finished a Masters in Public Health, also at Emory (Rollins School of Public Health).  

--Blessed to call the Presbytery of Western NC home!  Home congregation: First Presbyterian Morganton

--Family:  Melia, age 20, joining the US Navy in November 2014, Anna, almost 17, returning to Rift Valley Academy in Nairobi, Kenya to do her Senior year of High School, then returning to the US to enter college, and Happy, age 9, continuing primary school in Malawi with mom. 

 

After worship on July 20, Barbara will meet any interested congregation members and present information about her mission work in the Library. Be sure to join us and learn more!
