SNAP Challenge

The Presbytery of Western North Carolina Hunger Committee has asked GCPC to join the SNAP/ Food Stamp Challenge during the week of November 16-22. During this week, participants agree to live on the daily Food Stamp allowance of $4.06 per day, per person. For those of you who are not already doing so, this is an opportunity to gain an understanding of the challenges and choices involved in planning meals within this limit.Members of the GCPC SERVE council have committed to taking this challenge and invite you learn more and register HERE.
