MusicWorks!
performs at GCPC on Wednesday, November 19 from 6:00-7:00 pm in a
family friendly concert that will be fun for children of all
ages! MusicWorks! is an intensive artistic and social program inspired
by Venezuela's El Sistema, offered after school in the city of Asheville
to children in underserved populations that uses music education as a
transformative and empowering tool to teach life skills. The "concert"
on November 19 will showcase the children and what they are learning as a
part of MusicWorks. Additionally, there will be short organ
performance to introduce the children and the audience to the amazing
sounds of the pipe organ. Please make plans to come out and support
this worthwhile event!
