GCPC is in partnership with the Iglesia Jerusalem (IJ) in Coatepeque, Guatemala. The purposes for this partnership include:
1) Build personal relationships between our members
2) Enhance our faith and understanding as they relate to our respective communities
3) Make an impact for the Gospel in our communities
To that end, in November 2011, GCPC hosted a visit by five members of IJ. Over 100 members of GCPC participated in hosting, feeding, squiring, and working with our friends. We laughed, we cried, we prayed, we hugged. By the conclusion of the visit, we all had a much better sense of each other, and of what are struggles and joys are as communities of faith. Clearly, the week resulted in mutual sharing and an abundance of love. Thanks be to God.
